There’s a new reality TV show coming to Channel Seven and it’ll make The Bachelor look like a Richard Curtis rom-com.
In this accelerated version of The Bachelor, 10 ladies will compete for the attention of one man… but they don’t actually get to see him until the final moments of the final rounds when he proposes to one of them.
And it works both ways, with 10 men who will do anything to win the heart of a mystery woman.
Before the night (and each episode) is over, two people who have never met will leave engaged to be married.
Mind. Blown.
Channel seven has announced TV favourite Luke Jacobz as the host the new show.
And he admits he’s completely in awe of the program’s singles who are ready to take a leap of faith in their search for love and willing to propose to someone they’ve literally just met.
“Proposing to my fiancé Raychel was one of the most nerve-wracking, exciting but rewarding experiences of my life. I’m hoping that my very recent proposal might give our singles even more confidence.”
The proposal first aired in the US last year, and is coming to Australia – with a host of Aussie singles – later this year.
Luke adds: “I have always wanted to get married and start a family … there’s no greater feeling knowing that you’ve met the one, that you’re now part of this amazing team. I love that I get to be a part of other couples taking the leap too.”
