The family and megachurch are back after season two wrapped up well over a year ago and if the trailer is anything to go by – The Righteous Gemstones Season Three was well worth the wait.
What Will Season Three of The Righteous Gemstones Be About?
The first teaser trailer made it abundantly clear the new season would be chaotic. The intensity reaches new heights as the televangelists make their grand return, cranking up the notch to an unprecedented level.
Fans have become accustomed to the outrageous exploits of the Gemstone family, but brace yourselves for a wilder ride than ever before. The official trailer showed glimpses of monster trucks, daring stunts, and the incomparable Steve Zahn (known for his role in The White Lotus) armed and ready.
From the trailer, it looks like season three will focus on Eli Gemstone taking a step back from leading the church, leaving Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin to take the reins. Unfortunately, when one of the church’s major benefactors departs, the Gemstones lose out on a staggering opportunity to earn $200 million. Left with limited options, they forge an alliance with the Montgomery family, a religious militia known for their gunslinging and snake-handling practices.
The Cast of The Righteous Gemstones Season Three
Fans can breathe a sigh of relief – it looks like all your favourite cast members will be returning for season three of The Righteous Gemstones.
John Goodman is once again starring as Eli, Danny McBride is returning as Jesse, Judy played by Edi Patterson is back, as is Kelvin played by Adam Devine.
Tony Cavalero is returning as Keefe Chambers, Cassidy Freeman is reprising her role as Amber Gemstone and BJ Barnes played by Tim Baltz, Baby Billy Freeman played by Walter Goggins, Tiffany Freeman played by Valyn Hall, and Gideon Gemstone played by Skyler Gisondo, will also be returning.
The trailer also revealed that Steve Zahn, Stephen Dorff and Kristen Johnston will also be joining the cast.
