Adam’s character August was a notable reality TV casualty in season three of the show, which deals with the nasty goings on and chronic manipulation backstage at fictional dating show Everlasting. So no one was expecting him to return to the squalid world of reality TV fakery.
‘It definitely wasn’t always in the plan [for August to return],’ he exclusively tells Binge List – which is available to download via iTunes and OMNY.
Season four, which deals with an ‘All Stars’ season of Everlasting, offered a perfect opportunity to revisit the past. But even so, why would August ever go back, considering how badly burnt he was last time?
‘I know, right?’ admits Adam in his chat with Binge List‘s Gavin Scott. ‘After everything they did to him.

‘But the first time he went on it was all a shock, and he was very naïve to the whole situation.
‘So, he came back with the confidence of, I know how you guys operate now, and I know all your tricks, you’ve done the worst you can do to me, so I’m going to go on and I’m going to control things, and I’m going to play my own game.’
It seems that August doesn’t learn easily – and lesson number two is coming his way, fast.
‘He goes on thinking it’s not going to happen to him again,’ says Adam. ‘But he’s definitely not as smart as what he thinks he is, and they are a lot smarter.’
