Her parody Instagram posts in which she mimics sexy celebrity poses started off as a shared laugh with her sister.
But when the 35-year-old comedian, actress and mum from the NSW Central Coast began sharing the self-deprecating snaps, it was clear she’d struck a chord.
Today, with her 3.2 million Instagram followers, her pics are inadvertently fighting the unrealistic portrayal of women in social media—one laugh and like at a time.

“I never started out for it to be a body positive thing,” said Barber. “It was always like, this is how celebrities get out of the pools, and I’m like, ‘No, this is how you get out of a pool.”
