"Everyone keeps asking me if I'm with KC or if I'm not. Honestly, it’s getting fired at me that many times it’s ridiculous. I don’t honestly know where that came from," the controversial businessman said.
Attempting to call his bluff, a sceptical Chrissie reminded Michael of a conversation he recently had on-air in which he said: "I can 100 per cent say I'm with someone from the show".
Clearly panicking that he'd been caught out, Michael backtracked and insinuated he was dating one of the MAFS producers instead.
“100% but everyone thinks of the show as being 20 people but there is 200 people that work on that show you know what I mean. You meet a lot of people."
"So you’re saying you’re seeing a producer? A caterer, a janitor?" Chrissie interjected.
"I’ll tell you this, my partner is absolutely amazing, she’s a wonderful girl," he responded.
During the chat, he also opened up about having a drink with KC and the pain it caused his now-estranged with Stacey, taking the MAFS newcomer's side.
"Let’s be honest, you’re on the show you’re all going through the same thing and when someone reaches out and wants to have a drink or have a coffee... She popped around to say hello. Is that a crime?" he said defensively.
"Does that mean I’m seeing her? She did the right thing, she asked Stacey and showed her some respect. That’s not a crime, I mean half the other stuff I’ve been doing probably was let’s be honest."
Although he's desperately trying to shake his bad-boy reputation, a MAFS insider recently told New Idea that Stacey found her husband in bed with another woman after one of his boozy nights out.
"Michael was in the doghouse after he stayed out all night at the casino," a source told the outlet of the party boy's reckless behaviour. "Stacey later learnt he'd been in another woman's apartment after she shared a snap of him on Instagram."
In spite of all the hurt she's endured since marrying him, KC kind of seems weirdly obsessed with Michael and even claimed he's not as rogue as they make him out to be on the dating experiment.
"The thing I like about Michael is, he is just very honest. He's not sneaky, he's not shady. If he goes behind your back, he's gonna tell you".
