As just two of the young and attractive singles in the I’m A Celeb camp this year, many fans thought that the pair might soon form a bond that’s more than just about friendship, but Angie has shut that down.
Speaking to her new camp best friend Richard Reid, the former Gogglebox star revealed she wants nothing to do with romance in the jungle.
“It’s hard enough starving, why would you want to have heartache?” Angie said. “You’re just gross all the time, worst taste in your mouth…”
The reality TV contestant said she would rather ‘cheese grate her nipples’ than go there.
But Angie’s relationship fears seem to run deeper, telling Richard that she has never had her heartbroken so always ends things before the other person can.
“I’m petrified of someone leaving me because I don’t know how I would bounce back from that… so I’ve never really gone there… it’s so unhealthy.”
