Bachelor winner Laura Byrne has posted a series of sweet birthday tributes to her fiancée, Matty J, albeit maybe just a little too late.
“Yesterday it was this beautiful DILF’s birthday and I almost missed my opportunity to idolise him in a proper insta montage,” she wrote alongside a carousel of some of Matty’s finest moments.
“@matthewdavidjohnson you’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love doing life with you, I love our little family and I can’t wait to marry the pants off you… ‘you’re a sexy boi’,” she penned.
Fans in the comments were quick to share the belated birthday love.
“Awww you two such a great love story, ❤️” one wrote.
“Couple goals 🙌” said another.
“Love to see the love you have for each other and the beautiful family you have both created,” another added sweetly.
“You’re 24hrs late…” he wrote.
Laura hit back in her stories, adding to the already loving tribute with a few more sweet – and a few more embarrassing – memories from their time together.
“@matthewdavidjohnson said my happy birthday post was 24 hours late and not good enough…” she said.
“So, here is a digital shrine to the man who fertilised my eggs,” she joked in the next slide.
“Every year with you gets better and better … At this rate we better move to the country and buy a house big enough for five kids,” she wrote alongside pictures of the couple with their two young daughters.
“Happy birthday you wonderful human … I can’t wait to marry you,” she finished it up.
Laura and Matty have been up among the country’s favourite Bachelor couples since they ended season five of The Bachelor deeply in love.
Since then, the couple have had two babies – Marlie Mae, who is two, and Lola, who was born in February this year.
They have been engaged for quite some time, and are rumoured to be tying the knot at the end of this year.
