Married At First Sight has always been confronting viewing, but has the reality show taken things a step too far?
On Tuesday’s ‘home stays’ viewers were faced with a somewhat tasteless shot of an open condom wrapper sitting inside a dirty pizza box.

Tamara’s revelation came after Dan admitted earlier in the episode that he was uncertain about their relationship.
A shocked Tamara replied by questioning whether he was lying about his feelings when they had sex the night before.

The conversation started when Dan, 35, asked Tamara if she ‘feels less loved’ because he doesn’t come on to her.
When she told him it ‘definitely does’ and she needs someone who ‘craves her,’ Daniel tried to explain himself.
‘But I can’t give that [affection] because I don’t feel that right now,’ he said.
‘I’m chasing that spark that I just haven’t got yet.’
‘Me coming onto you and cuddling you and kissing you would only be lying to you and giving you false hope. I’d rather do that when I’m 100 per cent know that it’s there,’ added Dan, despite the fact they had been intimate the night before.
‘So last night when you came onto me and we had sex were you lying?’ Tamara asked him.
After pausing to try and think of an adequate answer, Daniel responded: ‘At that moment I was feeling like I wanted to do it.’
He continued: ‘It was great last night, you were more open you were touching me you were grabbing me.
‘You came onto me. I felt warm, I felt great. It was awesome. I felt really happy in that moment. Really happy,’ he said.
‘He was obviously horny so he wanted to sleep with me,’ Tamara later told the cameras.
‘I don’t want to let my guard down to someone who wants to get his end away basically,’
