Ali Oetjen has been put through the singer as Australia’s latest Bachelorette.
The blonde beauty’s ex Grant Kemp turned her world upside down when he confirmed the cheating allegations.
But now former Bachelor Matty J is sticking up for his rose-giving alum.
Speaking to Daily Mail, he said, “At this point, they’re just wild accusations by Grant [Kemp]. What’s his motive? Maybe he’s jealous that she’s back in the spotlight and he’s not. It’s hard to know what is the truth and what is a made-up story.”
Meanwhile for those who’ve been slamming Ali’s decision to smooch suitors in the house *ahem Charlie*, Osher Gunsberg has this to say:
He told TV Week that there shouldn’t be a double standard – as The Bachelor does the same thing.
“She’s far more on the front foot as to what she will and won’t stand for. We’ve seen her be really confident, not only in telling guys what’s okay and not okay, but going, ‘I’m into you, let’s have a pash.’”
“Nobody blinks an eye when the Bachelor has a pash on a single date. But when a beautiful, smart, independent woman goes, ‘I think you’re alright, let’s have a kiss’, people react strangely. For me, that’s the most fascinating part of the show.”
