Paris Jackson will visit Australia for the first time this month as a VIP guest of Myer and the Victoria Racing Club.
Despite the amazing honour, the model and daughter of the late Michael Jackson told News Corp: “I wasn’t familiar with the Melbourne Cup before the opportunity came up to attend this year.”
However, she maintains, “Once it was brought to my attention, I asked my Aussie friends about it and heard so many incredible things.”
They say it’s ‘the race that stops a nation’, and I’m eager to experience this tradition for myself,’ Paris said.
According to The Herald Sun, the 19-year-old Vogue Australia cover star will enjoy Myer’s Fashion On The Fields before taking in the race.
While it’s not yet confirmed which designer she’ll be wearing, we’re going to take a wild guess and assume it will be a gorgeous number from one of Myer’s renown Australian fashion brands.
