The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced some very exciting news!
The royal couple have confirmed that they are set to embark on a royal tour of South Africa – and they’re bringing along Baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

The trip to South Africa marks the first time Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and baby Archie have travelled together as a family for an official royal engagement.
While no official dates for the tour have been confirmed, a statement from Buckingham Palace revealed the tour will take place in the UK Autumn, meaning Baby Archie, who was born on May 6, will be four or five months old at the time.
While Meghan and Archie will be accompanying the prince for the trip, Harry will undertake several solo engagements in Angola, Malawi and Botswana.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will undertake an official visit to South Africa this Autumn at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office,” the official statement read.
“In addition, The Duke of Sussex will visit Angola and Malawi at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
“His Royal Highness will also undertake a working visit to Botswana while in the region.”
The Duke and Duchess were also quick to update their 8.8 million Instagram followers with the exciting news.
“TRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited to announce that they have been asked to carry out a tour to Southern Africa this autumn,” the caption began.
“The Foreign and Commonwealth Office have requested a visit to South Africa 🇿🇦 as well as The Duke carrying out visits to Malawi 🇲🇼 and Angola 🇦🇴. His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana 🇧🇼 en route to the other countries.
“The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the Commonwealth and beyond.
“This will be their first official tour as a family!”
