Interestingly, this is not the first time one of Chelsie's co-stars has alluded to Matt speaking to other women during their six-month-long romance— clearly making Abbie's post even more powerful.
Earlier this week, after Jessica Brody shared two photos showing her holding a red rose with a caption which read, "Me ➡️vs.➡️ Me when he tells me I’m the only girl he’s talking to," Chelsie replied: "🌹 triggereddddddd... Triggered is an understatement to be fair."
Rachael Arahill also echoed a similar sentiment in the comments section of one of Chelsie's recent social media posts.
"Hey! This is completely false," she wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a screenshot of the magazine's article."Stop writing sh*t like this and driving forward the narrative that I'm a 'homewrecker' or a 'man stealer' because it makes people click and hate me more. :) thanks."
“He wanted to choose no-one, but obviously it was in his contract that he had to choose someone, so producers pushed him to pick Chelsie because she was the safe bet,” the source dished. “If it happened two years in a row, the whole franchise would be done.”
As per the insider, Matt was forced by producers to give scientist Chelsie the final rose, promising to stay with her until The Bachelor finale played out on our screens.
“If they announced their split during Angie’s season, it would have put a bad taste in viewers’ mouths and could have impacted the ratings. So, he was made to keep the act up and do the required media rounds with Chelsie until Angie’s season had finished airing.”
