"People assume women can only be one thing; that because I was open with my sexuality and I was able to express that with Matt that I was only that one thing, that I couldn't be intelligent and sexual and strong and funny and have any other personality traits," she said.
After being slammed and gang up on by her Bachelor co-stars— particularly Sogand Mohtat and Monique Morley— Abbie said after the cocktail party incident she felt excluded and isolated, she sought help and guidance from the show's psychologist.
"I didn't eat for three days. I just slept and cried. I really wasn't well," she told TV Week, adding that she was "an absolute mess".
Although Monique was up in arms over her co-star's decision to pash the devilishly handsome Bachelor, WHO can exclusively reveal she doesn't end up with Matt. Despite enjoying a single date with 31-year-old last week, the lingerie designer was recently spotted getting handsy with a mystery man in public. Last week, the reality TV star was spotted holding hands and packing on the PDA with her new boyfriend.
An eyewitness said: "It looks like they've known each other for a long time with the way they were carrying on and touching each other."
Monique has also been linked in the past to Married At First Sight star Jessika Power's controversial brother, Rhyce.
It is believed they were together in their early twenties, but split "when Rhyce moved away for work and Monique started travelling".
