Ajay Rochester has never been shy about grabbing headlines – or the attention of LA paparazzi cameras – and true to form, the onetime Biggest Loser host has wasted no time in revealing all on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here.
She’s already created a stir by getting stuck into Goggleboxer Yvie Jones, and the Aussie expat, 49, immediately caught the notice of producers and editors on the show when she casually announced some very frank information about her private life – or lack thereof.
When co-star Justin Lacko compared the camp to a ‘swinger’s club’, Ajay quickly nixed the idea.
‘That would mean actually having sex and I haven’t had sex in nine years,’ she blurted.
‘I’ve reclaimed my virginity. You have to after nine years.’
Ajay has had a relatively low profile in Australia of recent years, after a run of very revealing pap pictures ran in local magazines, of her repeatedly losing her swimwear on LA beaches, or romping suggestively with friends.
One picture set in 2012 appeared to imply she was in a lesbian relationship, and was, interestingly, accompanied by new quotes from the star on the subject of her sexuality.
‘I’m proud of being part of the gay community – by definition I would consider myself “bi” as, of course, I am attracted to men also,’ she was quoted as saying.
‘I have been with men and women, and you love who you love. I’ve never said I’m straight.’
It remains to be seen if Ajay finds love in the jungle.
