The judges for this season of Australia’s Got Talent have officially been announced and our favourite chef, Manu Feildel, has joined the panel!

The global ratings juggernaut is set to unearth a new generation of stars and the My Kitchen Rules judge knows he has what it takes to find the winner.
“I love watching undiscovered talent come into their own,” he said. “It takes a lot of courage to get up on a stage with millions watching, and I want to be that voice of encouragement to help these contestants ultimately become the best versions of themselves.”

Before finding fame as a chef and TV presenter, Manu mastered juggling, unicycling and acrobatics at a circus school as a teenager. After realising cooking was his true passion, he left the circus, moved to London and studied at the Cafe Royal restaurant.
The French chef, who was trained in England, went on to become a household name after participating in Australian cooking programs like Ready Steady Cook, MasterChef Australia and, of course, MKR. He also participated and won Dancing With The Stars in 2011. Manu also achieved a solid reputation as a head chef at Bilson’s restaurant. In 2009, hr opened is own restaurant, Manu at L’Étoile.
