Kim Kardashian is a momager in the making!
Less than 24 hours after their son Pslam West was born, Kim and Kanye West filed a series of trademarks to protect their little one’s name. On May 18, Kim submitted the filing with the U.S Patent and Trademark office under her namesake company, Kimsaprincess Inc.
If you search the US trademark database, the request covers a series of products across the fashion and beauty section, including baby goods (blankets, cribs, strollers, baby changing tables, baby walkers, baby bottles and breast pumps) children’s clothing, toys, watches, glassware, hair combs, jewellery, and skin care.
There’s also an application to use his name for “entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a celebrity.”
While to some, trademarking a two-week old’s name seems a little excessive, it’s a pretty common in the world of celebs as it prohibits others from profiting off their name. The couple’s other children, North, Saint and Chicago, also have similar trademarks filed under their names.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star announced the birth of the newest addition to their family on May 17, a little over a week after the baby was born via a surrogate mother.
“He’s here and he’s perfect,” Kim told her social media followers, revealing the couple named their fourth child Psalm.
