Kylie Jenner has had a tough few weeks.
Days after confirming she’d split from her boyfriend Travis Scott— with rumours swirling that he’s been cheating on her for months— the mum-of-one has come under fire for an Instagram video which has since been deleted.

After showing off $3 million orange Bugatti Chiron, which sat in the middle of eight of her other cars, the makeup mogul, 22, was slammed for distastefully flaunting her wealth.
“How can people justify buying more cars then they possibly need when there are people out there who can’t eat! Like I get it’s your money and you earn it but HOW do you justify not doing good with it I just don’t get it. They money you spent on this you could of fed a village for a year at LEAST,” one person commented, according to The Blast.
Another person wrote: “Oh yay! Another new car! Meanwhile there’s ppl struggling to make ends meet and feed themselves. I’m happy for her but damn when is enough enough?”
The backlash comes days after Kylie admitted she’d called time on her two-year-long relationship with her rapper beau Travis. Taking to Twitter to clear up a few misconceptions, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians— who shares one-year-old daughter Stormi Webster with her ex— says her split from Travis was amicable, and the pair remain the best of friends.
“Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi‼️ our friendship and our daughter is priority,” she said.
While she was pretty brief about the whole ordeal, I think it’s safe to say this will be the only time the Kylie Cosmetics founder will touch on her split, considering she’s pretty private when it comes to discussing intimate details about her relationship.
One minute after breaking her silence about their breakup, Kylie sent out another Tweet dispelling rumours that she was getting close with her ex-boyfriend, Tyga.
For a little context, yesterday, fans went into meltdown when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was spotted in the wee hours of the morning visiting the rapper at his recording studio. Although many outlets reported that the former couple— who spit in 2013— intentionally met up and were secretly rekindling their romance, Kylie says all of this is untrue.
“The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is,” a seemingly angry Kylie wrote. “There was no ‘2am date with Tyga.’ You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at.
As we know from multiple sources, Travis and Kylie secretly parted ways a few weeks ago, with claims surfacing that Kylie was much more dedicated to parenting their daughter. According to E! News and PEOPLE insiders, the reality TV star was hoping to settle down and expand their family sooner rather than later, however, Travis was much more focused on advancing his music career— which is said to have made Kylie feel “insecure” and “anxious”.
“The last few months, Kylie felt they were drifting and she was never really sure what was going on. She loved being at home with Travis and their daughter Stormi more than anything. But right now, their priorities are different. She still has trust issues with Travis. He hasn’t been giving her the commitment that she needs,” the source told PEOPLE.
“Travis isn’t ready to give her all that she wants but they are both great parents and will co-parent. They don’t want their split to affect Stormi too much.
While there’s no bad blood between the pair, sources close to the situation have also claimed Travis’ absence made Kylie “spectacle” of his intentions. This later led to a series of insignificant arguments which spelled the end of their romance.
“They’ve been fighting again, but have still seen each other within this last month,” the source told E! News. “They fight over ridiculous things and Kylie can be very sceptical about Travis. Travis has been stressed with dropping new music.”
Since deciding it was time to take a breather, the popular rapper— who’s best known for his hit track, “Sicko Mode“— has moved out of Kylie’s multi-million dollar mansion. Although they no longer see each other every day, Travis still spends time with Stormi.
“Travis has been staying at his house in Beverly Hills and Kylie has been allowing him to see Stormi,” the source said. “She would never take that away from him.”
While things aren’t looking too good for the pair at the moment, there’s still hope for the once happy couple. Yep, the same E! News source revealed that while they’re both focusing on themselves and their respective business ventures right now, their split is only temporary! Phew…
