Davey Lloyd first came to our attention on Sam Frost’s season of The Bachelorette.
He then came back for another go at love in the first season of Bachelor in Paradise last year, where he was left shattered after Florence Alexandra, 28, failed to give him a rose after the first rose ceremony.
Despite what looked like a promising romance between Davey and Florence, he found himself in a love triangle with Jake Ellis also keen to rekindle his romance with Flo.
And after Davey decided to take Leah Costa on a date because of Jake’s interest, Flo had enough and called time on any budding romance her and Davey may have had.
The writing was on the wall.
Florence told WHO at the time: “Oh, when he decided to take Leah on a date, I was like, ‘Seriously, mate?’ He came back full of regret, ‘I really wanted to take you, but Jake told me you were his.'”
“It was quite shocking to me because I definitely expecting to get that date, and I’m not surprised that he regretted it. It seems like they didn’t really have a great time,” she explained in our interview.
In an interview with POPSUGAR after his elimination, Davey said: “I’d do it differently next time. I would think a bit more for myself.”
Seems they both missed out on love.
With the 28-year-old Sydneysider rumoured to be heading to Paradise this season, and joining Alex Nation, Richie Strahan and Brooke Blurton in Fiji, he might just get another chance.
