With all the heated teasers we’ve been treated to so far, season two of Bachelor in Paradise can’t come to our screens soon enough.
There’s the ‘love square’ between Richie Strahan, and Rachael Gouvignon, Cass Wood and Cat Henesey to look forward to, and the explosive moments when Alex Nation and Richie come face to face for the first time since their split…
So with all these promos for the new season and new contestants, we started thinking about our favourite contestants from last season…
Sam Cochrane
As divisive as his choice of hair style, Sam Cochrane‘s cheeky behaviour lit up our screens until the closing credits – especially when paired with his partner in crime, Tara Pavlovic. There was never a dull moment when Sam was on screen.
Tara Pavlovic
Bringing her sense of humour and realness to Paradise (remember her sweating problems?!), Tara Pavlovic was a delight to watch from the get go.
Her romance with Sam may not have lasted as long as they’d both hoped, but we loved watching the pair fall in love.
Jarrod Woodgate
His sincerity gave Jarrod Woodgate a likeable charm that eventually won over Keira Maguire. After being left red faced from his knock back by Bachelorette Sophie Monk, Jarrod headed to Paradise undeterred and walked out with his woman.
You can’t play a straighter game than that.
Keira Maguire
Never a dull (or quite) moment when Keira Maguire is on the scene, but she won round audiences (and Jarrod, of course) but sharing the softer side of herself that we’d missed in her previous reality stint.
Ali Oetjen
Walking out with Grant Kemp at the end of the show we had high hopes for the pair, but their love wasn’t meant to be… Still, that gave viewers another chance to get to know Ali Oetjen when she was cast as Australia’a forth Bachelorette.
Jake Ellis
Giving the impression he was a smooth talking, confident player, Jake Ellis didn’t disappoint the ladies on the show, even causing a love triangle between himself, Florence Moerenhout and his final love, Megan Marx.
Though the pair have recently called it quits it was clear Jake was smitten, on screen and off.
Megan Marx
Openly bisexual, we can imagine Megan Marx was cast to set all hearts racing in Paradise. Attracted to both men and women, Meghan made it clear she was keen to get close to Elora Murger at one point. Eventually Jake and Megan made it reality-TV show official and left the show to see if they could work in the real world.
