We can’t believe it’s finally here.
The Bachelor finale.
Yep, in just minutes, we will know FOR SURE who goes home with Matt’s heart and that big ol’ diamond ring he took with him to South Africa.
But you know we can’t resist an accidental spoiler, even this close to the end game – and that’s why we’re a little bit obsessed with this amazing footage that seems to confirm that Chelsie McLeod is the lucky lady who’s captured astrophysicist Matt’s heart.

The delicious Easter egg has come to us courtesy of Chelsie’s bestie Liv Porter, in the form of a video the project manager shared to Instagram waaay back in July when Bachie season was just kicking off.
Liv posted footage of frontrunner Chels taking in the first episode with a group of friends at a viewing party – and she couldn’t be looking happier as her mates cheer her on for receiving the first rose.
Now, to be fair, this alone isn’t definitive proof that Chelsie ends up as last woman standing, but bear with us because there’s more to the story.
Our other finalist, Abbie Chatfield, also had scenes from her viewing party posted online (this time by her sister) – and the mood at the 23-year-old’s event was a little more… let’s say sombre.
The leaked clip began with the property analyst sitting in front of the TV watching Matt introduce himself before the person filming yelled, “Abbie” hoping to capture her response to the scene on camera.
“That’s so cringe,” a seemingly disgruntled Abbie groaned as she turned around and pulled a face.
Abbie’s sister Jolie originally shared the video from the boozy viewing party to her Instagram story however she later deleted it – perhaps at Network 10’s request?
Since the footage surfaced, Abbie hit back at claims she was slamming the astrophysicist, telling the Daily Mail that her facial expressions “had nothing to do with Matt”.
But now that we’ve seen how giddy and giggly Chelsie was during her own premiere party, we’re starting to feel pretty darn sure that she’s the one getting a rock slipped on her finger in South Africa!
With the grand finale mere moments away, we’ve been blessed with a first look at the stunning ring the astrophysicist plans to give to the love of his life (ahem Chelsie…).
For the third consecutive year in a row, Larsen Jewellery is providing the stunning diamond. And apparently Matt worked very closely with the head designer to create the bespoke diamond!
In the final teaser trailer, we see a suited up Matt freaking out about whose heart he’s going to break, admitting it’s by far one of the hardest decisions he’s ever had to make.
“I want to walk away from this with the love of my life,” an emotional Matt says while clutching a boxed diamond ring. “This is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I just don’t know anymore.”
Staring at the ring, the nervous astrophysicist says: “This affects my whole future and I want the right woman by my side.”
Speaking on Nova 96.9’s On Air With Smallzy Show, Matt hinted that the bling could well be more than just the ‘promise ring’ of seasons past.
“I’m at a point in my life where I feel I’ve got a place to live; I’ve got a successful career; I’ve got a lot of things in the right place for me,” he said. “It’s the right time. I’m really excited to start that next chapter, which is marriage, kids, starting a family.
