Dami Im and her husband Noah Kim are celebrating the birth of their first baby -a healthy, happy boy.
Taking to Instagram, the happy couple announced the birth of their son, who they named Harrison.
“My burrito, welcome to this world 120522 Harrison Noah Kim,” Dami wrote alongside a snap of the bub.
Friends and fans of Dami were thrilled at the news, commenting their love, joy and emojis below the image.
“Congratulations, beautiful woman!! Sending love, blessings and amazing hopes for your collective future together, fam,” MasterChef judge Melissa Leong wrote.
“WOOHOOOOO CONGRATULATIONS BEAUTIFUL!” actress Rebecca Gibney said.
“Ahhhh Dami! How incredible! Sending you every bit of love…. What a precious gift,” singer Bonnie Anderson added.
Dami, 33, announced that she was expecting her baby in December last year, posting sonogram images to Instagram and tagging Noah in the post.
“I got a gig booked in Brisbane for May 2022 at the maternity ward … 🤰,” she captioned it.
Noah re-posted Dami’s image, writing “I am going to be a father 🤩 Life is full of surprises.”
The news is thrilling for the couple, who have now known each other for over a decade.
Dami and Noah got married in the South Korean capital Seoul in 2012.
The following year, Dami would find fame after winning the fifth season of The X-Factor, and she has been a working musician ever since.
Despite her rise to fame, she credits Noah, who is a social worker, as being the person to keep her grounded.
“We got married a year before the whole talent show thing, so he’s been there with me through it all,” the Celebrity MasterChef contestant told The Daily Telegraph.
“It’s really good to have him there, he understands everything I’ve been through and goes through changes with me.
“Even though I’m the one in the spotlight he has been there with me.”
Noah can often be seen on Dami’s socials, especially when it comes to birthdays and anniversaries.
“Happy anniversary to me and Noah!” she shared in 2021.
“He got me a living plant instead of flowers because it means we’re growing together always … aww (but I love flowers even if they don’t grow),” she continued.
“I love being married to you. I never knew how funny you were before we were married but everyday is so funny and I love that we get to laugh for the rest of our lives 💚💚💚.”
Congratulations to these proud parents!
