The world’s happiest place is about to become even more exxy!
Walt Disney in Orlando, Florida, and the Californian Disneyland are bumping up ticket prices as of this Sunday.
According to the Associated Presst Disney World’s prices for “value” days went up to $109 for adults and $103 for children — a $2 increase — and the cost for tickets on regular days were raised to $119 for adults and $113 for children — a $4 uptick. Meanwhile, peak season tickets went up by $5, valued at $129 for adults and $123 for children.
Meanwhile, at Disneyland, “peak” single-day tokens soared by $11 to $135, generic-priced days increased $7 to $117, and value-day ticket prices stayed at $97.
The price hike comes as an attempt to space out park attendance to reduce the crowds, which would ultimately shorten hours spent in waiting lines.
“We know how important making memories at Disney theme parks is to families and we will continue to evolve our pricing in a way that gives families a range of options to meet their budget and helps better spread attendance throughout the year so they can make the most of every visit,” Disney spokesperson Andrea Finger told theOrlando Sentinel revealed in an official statement.
