A 26-year-old man, who is reported to be the father of twin girls, will face court today over the alleged kidnapping and indecent assault of a seven year old girl, who was shopping for Christmas presents with her mother.

The mother and daughter had been at Kmart in the Westfield North Lakes complex on Tuesday, when she disappeared from the toy aisle, and was gone for more than an hour.
It is alleged the man lured her away, drove her to nearby bushland and sexually assaulted her, before returning her to the shopping centre.
After being pictured on CCTV, he has been charged with deprivation of liberty, taking a child for immoral purposes and indecent treatment of a child under 12.
