Fans were devastated by the recent news Bachelorette Ali Oetjen and Taite Radley had split two years after finding love on the show.
While there’s been some plausible theories as to what caused the break-up, her Bachelorette runner-up, Todd King has now weighed in on the split, sharing the telling sign their romance was on the rocks.

Appearing on the So Dramatic! Podcast, Todd, who had his heart broken by the stunning 34-year-old, revealed he “didn’t see it [the break-up] coming at all”.
But, there was one sign that may have been a very telling clue.
“We talked so much about our timelines, what she was expecting, on the show so I thought it was a little bit strange that after a couple of years they weren’t engaged,” Todd noted.
The police officer admitted he hadn’t heard much about the breakup or the reason but did have his theories.
“It seems to me that she sacrificed a lot of what she wanted to fit into his life.
“From what she told me two years ago, she had a pattern of doing that. A pattern she was trying to get out of. Maybe that was it, or they fell out of love quickly.”
While Ali had spoken openly about the “timeline” she wanted her life and romance to follow – wanting marriage and kids – Todd revealed that while on the show Taite wasn’t so sure.
“Taite was just so iffy about whether he wanted to commit. It might sound like I’m bitter, but even at the end what he said to her, it seemed half-a***d.”
Yikes.
Todd admits that while he was sure Ali was going to pick him in the finale, he wouldn’t consider dating the Bachelorette now.
“Not a chance,” Todd replied when asked by host Megan Pusetto.
Todd also revealed a juicy unaired moment that left him more confused than ever about Ali’s feelings in the finale.
“She grabbed me and kissed me for about 10-20 seconds. I don’t know, do you kiss people you’re about to break up with?”
“Pardon my French but it was a head f**k.”
