Sophie Monk and Joshua Gross

Despite a successful run on The Bachelorette that saw Sophie choosing Stu Laundy, the two weren’t meant to be, and it wasn’t long before Sophie was left single once more.

However, the former Bardot singer got her rom-com moment in 2018, when she was sat next to Joshua Gross on a business-class flight.

“I just sat down, and he had a sense of humour and I was like, ‘Oh, how relieving, sitting next to someone you can have a chat with’,” Sophie told 9Honey.

What started out as a long-distance relationship quickly led to love, with Sophie deeming the relationship to be nothing like her previous ones.

“When you don’t feel good about yourself, you attract the wrong thing or you look for somebody to fulfil you. But you need to meet someone who’s a bonus to you, not someone to fix you. That took me ages [to realise],” she said.

The couple announced their engagement in January 2021.

“Told you I’d tell you guys first 💍🙌 I’m engaged,” the TV-host wrote on Instagram beside a picture of herself and Joshua where she sported a sparkly ring and a massive smile.

Emma Watkins and Oliver Brian

Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins got engaged to her partner, Oliver Brian, in April 2021.

She posted a photo of the couple, with her sporting a ring, writing simply “When life gets more sparkly ✨💍❤️.”

Emma and Brian met while working on The Wiggles, with Brian also being a musician.

She was previously married to fellow Wiggle co-star, Lachlan Gillespie, who is the current Purple Wiggle.

Despite their divorce after two years of marriage, the two continue to work together in the children’s band, both often sharing videos of themselves dancing together in zany routines.

Tayla Damir and Nathan Broad

Love Island winner Tayla Damir became engaged to her AFL beau Nathan Broad in June, sharing a video to Instagram of Nathan popping the question on their CCTV camera at home.

“My forever 💎 @nathanbroad,” she wrote alongside the post.

“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend ❤️”

Tayla was famously, and very sadly, dumped by her fellow Love Island winner, Grant Crapp, who had a secret girlfriend back home throughout the filming of the show.

She took up with Nathan, who plays for Richmond Football Club, in 2019 and the pair live together in Melbourne.

Bryce popped the question on a surprise date, which included a helicopter ride.

“It’s all happened very fast,” he told New Idea.

Another Bachie wedding is in store, with the first ever winner of The Bachelorette, Sasha Mielczarek announcing his engagement to his partner, Carly Cottam.

While things might not have worked out with Sam Frost, who chose him as her winner, Sasha seems very much in love.

“She said ‘you’ll do!’ I’m claiming it as a yes!” he wrote beside the photos of the moment he proposed.

“Cheers to the most beautiful, kind, and caring person I know. My best mate.”

Ross surprised her by bending the knee and proposing in front of everyone, along with the hope of their close friends Chandler Powell, and Terri and Robert Irwin.

“This was the best day of my life. Not only did I get to feed a crocodile for @wildlifewarriorsworldwide with Terri, @robertirwinphotography & @chandlerpowell, but my best friend asked me to marry him ❤️,” she wrote on Instagram.
