The Aussie comedian, 39, filmed a video mimicking a photo shoot that Portuguese model Anastasia Young had posted on Instagram.
In Anastasia’s clip, she frolicks on a beach while holding a coconut, which prompted Celeste to film a hilarious parody.
Celeste posted a video to her 8.2 million followers of herself dancing dorkily while holding a roll of toilet paper.
She captioned the post: “We all have that one mate who gets weird around props”.
But Anastasia wasn’t impressed that Celeste, who often parodies celebrities’ glamorous posts, made fun of her and hadn’t linked back to her original clip.
“I believe [it] would be fair if you ask us before using this video (for the second time already),” Anastasia commented on the viral video.
“Or at least to give a proper credit in the description. Please be a bit mindful about it and contact me ASAP. Thank you.”
However, Celeste hit back at Anastasia with a typically sarcastic response.
“Oh s**t sorry. Can I please use this public video to post on this public platform?” she replied in the comments section.
Celeste’s response gained hundreds of likes from fans.
Celeste shot to fame for her hilarious recreations of iconic celebrity photos on social media.
Starting in early 2015, Celeste achieved international stardom and thanks to her project #CelesteChallengeAccepted which has garnered her an impressive fan base including celebrities themselves.
The mother-of-two has also made a name for herself on Australian TV.
She rose to fame on Aussie comedy series How Not to Behave and has appeared on Channel Seven’s long running soap Home and Away, as well as All Saints, Neighbours and The Letdown.
Celeste is also a regular panelist on Have You Been Paying Attention? and has stood as a co-host on Studio 10.
