The singer-songwriter released a statement on Instagram, along with teaser artwork for the album saying, “So much love, sweat & tears inside this new music. Hope you take it into your heart just like I let it out of mine.”

Goodrem also connected with her fans during a live Periscope broadcast saying, “I’m hoping this album takes you on a place of finding liberation and finding freedom amongst your own walls”.

The recording sees the Innocent Eyes singer collaborate with hip-hop producer Gizzle who has worked with music superstars Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj and fellow Australian Iggy Azalea.

“There had been a real buzz around Gizzle. We Facetime’d each other and shared a conversation around the meaning of the song,” Goodrem announced, adding the recording was about “empowerment and strength in one’s sense of self”.

Renowned for her live performances and musicianship, Goodrem will tour Wings of the Wild across Australia, cryptically alluding to the dates with a series of images containing geographic co-ordinates.

In addition to producing original music, the Los Angeles based performer will also cover classic rock anthem, ‘I believe in a thing called love’ on the record.
