Dog the Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman has opened up about her battle with stage two throat cancer.
The 49-year-old has a T2 tumour in the back of her throat and has had surgery to help with her breathing.
‘As I start this battle, I don’t see a lot of optimism,’ she said in an upcoming episode of A&E, Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives. ‘They give me 50/50 chances’.
The reality star told friends about the diagnosis in a letter she penned in September.
‘After months of a nagging cough, a routine checkup resulted in a diagnosis of stage II throat cancer,’ she wrote. ‘I have what is referred to as a T2 Tumor in my throat that is blocking my breathing. My doctors are suggesting immediate treatment and surgery before the disease progresses.’
Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives airs on November 27 on A&E.
