The actress needed it post-break up.

Lady Gaga made revelations recently that after her break-up in July of this year with long-time boyfriend, actor Taylor Kinney, 35, something in her life changed.

Gaga, 30, took a step back from the spotlight to self-heal after the demise of their relationship, which the singer of ‘Perfect Illusion’ recently spoke about in an interview with The Mirror. She said, “I needed a moment to stabilise.”

The singer admitted to taking anti-depressants to keep herself balanced, saying, “I take medication. I’m not saying I feel good because of the medication. I wouldn’t encourage young people to take anti-depressants or mood stabilisers. I openly admit to having battled depression and anxiety and I think a lot of people do. I think it’s better when we all say, ‘Cheers!’ and ‘fess up to it.”

Gaga is currently touring to promote her new single, which many are reporting is about her time with Kinney and its lack of depth, as merely an ‘illusion’. She was spotted stepping out in New York City recently while visiting the Sirius XM Studios, looking trim and the opposite of body shy, sporting denim cut-off shorts and a revealing mid-riff top.
