If you’re confused as to what exactly is going on with all the Married At First Sight couples since they left the show, you wouldn’t be the only one.
From Domenica Calarco and Jack Millar’s confusing “are they or aren’t they” dating status, to Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie’s engagement rumours – there’s a lot going on.
Since the brides and grooms left the show, in the most dramatic fashion of course, recouplings have seemingly already started, or at least the rumours have.
One of those rumoured romances is of course between Ella Ding and Brent Vitiello, who fans have already dubbed “Brella” as they hope, pray and outright beg for them to get together.
Life of course doesn’t work that way, with the pair having even said that despite what feels like the whole world wanting them to get together, doesn’t mean they will.
But, that doesn’t mean all hope is lost, as the two have been spending a lot of time together, and even admitted they shared a recent kiss.
“We have had sleepovers actually but I can control myself and so can he. But we’ve cuddled, we’ve DM’d, we’ve spoken about a lot of things,” Ella told the So Dramatic! podcast.
“We’re both very physically attracted to each other, there’s no denying that and I may have pecked him,” she added, before admitting their short kiss took place at her birthday party last month.
While fans watch their friendship slowly progress as time goes on, Ella’s ex from the show Mitch Eynaud has also been watching, and he’s finally shared his thoughts on the situation.
In an Instagram Q&A, Mitch was of course asked what he thought of Brent and Ella, and the former groom admitted he thought they “look great together,” and even wished them luck.
“I love this couple,” he said. “Not every relationship works out. Unfortunately, Ella and I didn’t but hopefully, this one does.”
The Queenslander also said he was “happy for them both” and acknowledged that Ella and Brent “have a lot in common”, telling his fans that he’s “all for it”.
Mitch himself has been at the centre of a rumoured relationship with his co-star Tamara Djordjevic, who also happens to be Brent’s ex.
While fans have long speculated that the two were together, both Mitch and Tamara have put those rumours to bed and confirmed they are just friends.
“We’re not dating,” Mitch said. “We spend a lot of time together, she’s a beautiful girl.”
“Girls and boys can be friends, despite all the sh*t that happened on the show. We’re mates and I love spending time with her.”
