Mariah Carey has been busy creating a new life with fiancee, Australian billionaire James Packer, but it’s her latest magazine cover and truths on motherhood revealed that has thrust her back into the limelight.
The 46-year-old pop singer has appeared on the cover of Clash magazine in the UK looking striking in a black one piece and fur coat, proving that she’s every bit the idol as she ever was.
Carey makes it clear, though, that although she’s in a relationship with Packer and they might be travelling Europe at present on board Packer’s yacht, her life’s focus is very much her children.
“I want them to still feel normal,” said Carey about her children Moroccan and Monroe. “So, if they don’t like traveling around at some point, they won’t have to travel around.
“But they love traveling. They love flying,” she explained. “If I keep them home for like five days, they’re like, ‘When are we going on an airplane?’ They really love it.
“They love doing all these things and seeing places — they love the Eiffel Tower,” she said. “It’s amazing, you know what I mean? I just have the best time with them.”
