Just when we thought love birds Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus were happier than ever, word spreads that their seemingly perfect relationship crumbled after exiting the Married At First Sight experiment.

What’s worse than that? A source close to the former couple says the aspiring actor has since moved on with Stacey Hampton and is said to have fallen for her after they discretely enjoyed a string of top-secret dates.
“Seb and Stacey started meeting up regularly when Stacey’s marriage to Michael was falling apart,” a well-placed insider told New Idea of the coupling. “She used him as a shoulder to cry on during areally difficult time and things just started to develop from there.”
While it’s apparently still early days, the source says Stacey is equally as keen on Seb and is even contemplating introducing him to her two children.
“Things are going well. They are hanging out whenever they can and they really enjoy each other’s company,” the source continued. “They’ve developed a genuine connection. Stacey can see a real future with Seb and he’s fallen hard for her too.”
While Seb isn’t the type of man the law graduate would typically go for, her pals say she’s come to the realisation that her choice of men in the past hasn’t served her well.
“She’s trying something – or should I say, someone – completely different to what she would usually go for,” a close friend of Stacey’s also told New Idea. “And it seems to be working out for her this time. She can’t wait until she’s got the green light to go public with Seb.”
Meanwhile, returning bride Lizzie is said to still be reeling by the betrayal, with one of her besties telling the publication she was completely blindsided by the news.
“Lizzie can’t believe this has happened again. She’s completely heartbroken because she truly thought Seb could be The One,” her friend said.
“But it’s even harder for her because she considered Stacey her closest friend on the show. She’s shocked she would throw their friendship away for a guy, especially considering how strongly she defended her during filming.”
To make matters even worse for the “distraught” retail manager, she’s being forced to stay with Seb until the show ends, meaning she has to keep up appearances with her estranged on-screen husband.
“It’s extremely hard for her to act like they are still madly in love. She’s putting on a brave face and doing what she’s contractually obliged to, but behind closed doors, she’s distraught.”
