Many stars from around the world have come together to join forces in a project against discrimination and for unity in a tribute to the horrendous hate crime that took plate at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, USA on June 12.
Stars like Selena Gomez, Australian Troye Sivan and Meghan Trainor amongst many others such as Britney Spears, Adam Lambert, P!nk, RuPaul, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani and more, have produced a new song entitled ‘Hands’ in honour and memory of those men and women who were murdered in the event.
The song, which runs for four-and-a-half minutes, will benefit Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, the GLBT Community Centre of Central Florida, and GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Writer and producer of the song, Justin Tranter said, “The second I heard about this horrible tragedy where so many of my LGBTQ brothers and sisters lost their lives, I immediately got on a plane to Orlando to volunteer my help anyway I could. Putting this charity single together is just a way for me, and everyone involved to keep volunteering our help and promote peace and love in the world.”
