Angie Kent is officially off the market!

In a season finale that had us all clutching a box tissues as we sobbed into our pizzas, Bachelorette Angie had to choose between two seriously amazing guys – loveable larrikin Timm Hanly and hunky fitness trainer Carlin Sterritt.
And no matter who she picked, a little piece of her heart – and ours – was always going to be broken.
“This decision is so incredibly hard for me because half my heart is with Carlin and then the other half of my heart is with Timm,” Angie admitted.
But she had to choose.
And she did…
In possibly the most heartbreaking farewell we’ve seen on The Bachelorette, like, ever, a sobbing Angie broke the news to Timm that, while she believes he is her soul mate, he’s not the one she can picture spending her life with.
“I love everything that we’ve had and a piece of me is like, I can’t picture my life without you, I can’t,” she stuttered through tears.
“I don’t want you to not be in my life.”
And while Timm maintained not just a straight face, but a smile, it was clear he was devastated.
“I’ll be sliding the DMs,” he joked, trying to lighten the mood – as he always did.
“Hey. Just call me if youse break up.”
A tearful Angie didn’t get how he could be so calm.
“Why are you not sad?’ she asked.
“I’m gutted. I just don’t wanna see you cry.”
After letting a broken-hearted Timm go, Angie dried up her tears and prepared to let Carlin in on the news.
“I can’t imagine this experience without you,” she told him as the pair stood, surrounded by lush Byron Bay bushland.
“From the red carpet, I felt so calm and I never feel calm straightaway, especially with a guy. I get in my head and I haven’t allowed myself to be like that. And you did. There was something about you. There was no doubt in my mind at all who I wanted to give that first date to. It was you.”
“There’s no doubt in my mind now that I feel like you are the perfect guy for me. And I am completely falling in love with you,” she added.
Yes, that’s right – Angie, who has never been in love before, has finally fallen!
“Yeah, I’ve definitely fallen in love with you. I can’t believe it.”
It was a rocky road to love for Angie and Carlin, who admitted during their first one-on-one time that he was married.
“I’ve been a little bit nervous coming into this experience because I’m super vulnerable with my story. I am the type of guy who wants to be open and transparent, because, you know, there’s no other way to do it…” he told her early on in the piece.
“I am… married.”
Clearly, that openness worked in his favour, and Carlin can now call himself Angie’s boyfriend.
“Those who have gone before us know that you don’t need to go on a reality TV show to find love,” the besotted babe shared on Instagram.
“However I can confirm, that you can go on a reality TV show and find love. It’s real. It’s raw. It’s our love story! I love you Angie and I’m SO excited for a future with you.”
Angie, too, took to social media to share her excitement.
“I built up some big ol walls over the years. I have my reasons. We all do. The reality is none of us are going to be a walk in the park to be with. We’ve all suffered or are suffering from something. That’s life. So when you meet someone willing to see past these walls and committed to understanding you and want to grow with you…. don’t let past conditioning, ego or pride get in the way,” she shared in a lengthy post.
“Thank-you for fighting for us and knowing what we have was real and pure from the very beginning. You are exactly what I wanted and more coming into this. I love you my Noh Noh.”
