Australian reality TV fans are about to witness history being made, with our first double Bachelorettes set to find love alongside each other on the show this season.
Sisters Elly Miles and Becky Miles will be standing side-by-side in the Bachie mansion, something that’s never happened before in any of the global iterations of The Bachelorette.
Both of the blonde beauties are refreshingly real and down-to-earth, plus their penchant for traditional Aussie slang – Elly frequently throws a “crikey!” or “strewth!” into her vernacular – is a reflection of their wholesome roots.
So where are sisters from, where they did grow up and where do they live now?

Where in Australia are Elly Miles and Beck Miles from?
Country girls at heart, both Elly and Becky grew up in Parkes in central west New South Wales.
The small town became a household name in 2000 thanks to the classic Aussie film The Dish, a fictionalised tale of the role Parkes’ famous radio telescope played during the 1969 Apollo moon landing.
Parkes has a population of about 12,000 people and is about a five hours’ drive from Sydney.
The town is named after politician Sir Henry Parkes, who served as the premier of New South Wales throughout the 19th century.
Elly’s connection to Parkes was mentioned during the first time she graced our TV screens on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor.
The astrophysicist and self-confessed science and space nerd bonded with Elly over the famous Parkes telescope and its important role in space history.

Where do Elly Miles and Becky Miles live?
While the sisters grew up in Parkes, the pair are no longer based there.
Instead, they both moved to the popular city of Newcastle in New South Wales, with Elly only recently relocating again to Sydney.
Both women love the outdoors, the beach and adventure, making the coastal locales a perfect fit.
Becky frequently posts photos of herself from various locations around the Newcastle and Hunter region, including Bay Beach, on the coast.
While Becky does travel to Sydney frequently for work, Elly moved to the sunny hotspot full-time a few months ago, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the time, the nurse was attempting to secure a job close to her new home in Bondi.

“As I have only recently moved to Sydney, I have not yet been able to secure a job working in the hospitals,” Elly told Channel Nine.
“Before isolation began, I was living with my parents in Parkes, NSW, working at the local hospital part-time and travelling to and from Newcastle/Sydney almost every second week,” she said.
“I lived a very, very busy lifestyle, so to slow down this drastically, basically out of nowhere has been really tough on me mentally.”
When asked about hunting for a job, she added: ”My recruitment process began before I made the move to Sydney and I expect the sudden impact of COVID-19 has placed delays on an already lengthy employment process. I feel the pang of guilt knowing I am trained, able and eager to help during this crisis however must await the recruitment process to be completed.”

Elly’s connection to Newcastle may end up helping her find love, with eagle-eyed fans revealing she actually knew one of this season’s contestants before the show even began.
The 26-year-old and hunky professional rugby star Joe Woodbury, who is one of this year’s frontrunner contestants and is also from Newcastle, know each other from spending time together in the popular university town.
The pair already follow each other on Instagram and Elly has even commented on one of Joe’s posts before, as fans recently revealed.
Could Joe end up being the guy for Elly? We’ll have to tune in and find out.
The Bachelorette premieres on October 7 and will air on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7.30pm on Ten.
