Married At First Sight contestant Sam Carraro spilled to Nova‘s Fitzy and Wippa that it’s painful to watch back his behaviour on the show.

The aspiring fashion designer, 32, has displayed poor behaviour on the show, and viewers have been annoyed at his man-child antics and lack of respect towards his wife, Coco.
It seems that while it is too soon to say Sam has grown from the experience, he expressed to the radio hosts, “I’ve been cringe-watching; it’s been very hard to watch myself.
“Believe me, I’ve been thinking, ‘who is this guy?’”
It appears some people need to see themselves on TV to recognise their actions are potentially rude and hurtful.
Last night, the couples were instructed by the experts to individually order their castmates by how attractive they personally are to them.
It’s unclear whether the activity was meant to bond them or was merely a ploy by the experts to mess with the couples, but when it came to Sam and Coco, the whole activity turned into an ordeal when he ranked his wife fourth, so she then ranked him sixth place.
Sam expressed his regret in the radio interview about how he handled the situation and his response to his placement.
“To kick up a stink when she put me at bottom four, absolute peanut, I shouldn’t have put her fourth, I should have been smart and put her higher up the ladder.”
Sam made his reputation on the show worse last night by continuing to disrespect Coco by dozing off as she opened up to him about her insecurities.
However, Wippa wasn’t going to let Sam off the hook when he asked the contestant if he is “physically attracted to Coco.”
Sam responded with a blunt “no,” but he attempted to defend his stance by blaming the show’s editing for his poor response when pressed by the radio host.
“They left out the part where I said she has a lovely and amazing body, which she does have and I went on to say look that’s what I want and I was just way too open and honest about what I like and it looked absolutely horrendous.”
“It’s not all about the physical attraction with Coco, it’s a lot to do with the personality. There’s a lot that’s been left out. We were on there for two months and you only see a couple of minutes.”
There have been rumours of a cheating scandal between Cameron Dunne and Coco swirling around the show, but according to Sam, he was unaware of any wrongdoings, and if there is, he can’t speak to it.
“I can’t talk too much about it, but yeah, I didn’t know that it was going on I didn’t know anything about it.”
Perhaps Sam will be grateful to Coco if she can take some of his bad press as he is tired of cringing at his performance.
“I’ve been watching it and cringing and it’s not good at all.”
