The Need a Favor singer, who’s currently in Australia for a series of promotional appearances, took to social media to share his experience after visiting the high-end designer boutique, and fans are rallying behind him.

According to Jelly Roll, he was stopped and closely followed by staff while browsing inside the Sydney store.

“The Louis Vuitton in Sydney legitimately just treated us like we were [going to] come in and rob that place. I have never been looked at more like a crim,” Jelly Roll said while outside the store in Sydney’s CBD.

“Listen, the last time I was looked at like a criminal this bad.. I was an actual criminal this bad.”

Fans flooded the comments with support, many expressing disappointment that the multi-award-winning artist felt discriminated against.

“You deserve better, Jelly,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Even celebrities can’t escape bias. This is just wrong.”

“Sydney the home of ‘Sorry, no neck tats’ 😂,” another wrote.

Louis Vuitton has not yet responded publicly to the claims, but the situation has sparked conversation online about the way luxury stores treat customers based on appearances.

Despite the incident, Jelly Roll hasn’t let the experience dull his Aussie trip, posting videos of himself trying local snacks, meeting fans, and joking about “making memories, not enemies.”

Jelly has two more shows left on his trip, including a Thursday (Nov. 6) show in Townsville at Queensland Country Bank Stadium and Saturday (Nov. 8) at the Outer Fields at Western Springs in Auckland, New Zealand.

Whether the brand will issue an apology remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: Jelly Roll isn’t staying quiet about it.
