On Tuesday night’s season premiere of Bachelor In Paradise, Richie Strahan made his grand entrance.

“I’m best know for taking the world’s most hated man title off Blake Garvey… then handballing it to Nick Cummins,” he told viewers.
And if his head start before Alex Nation‘s arrival is anything to go by, he may be reclaiming that title once again.
“I’m here because I’m open to falling in love again. I’m feeling excited,” Richie told Osher, before giving his own views on the former couple’s split.
He then went on to imply that Alex had done some “pretty grubby” stuff to end their relationship in 2017.
“It’s pretty grubby. It did a lot of damage. I don’t know if Australia is ready for all the grubby details surrounding it.”
Oh, yes we are!
Richie’s return to TV comes just hours after Alex spilled her own tea on their split, hinting that there’s more to her ex than fans know.
“I fell in love with Richie Bachelor, and then coming into Richie reality, it was very different,” she revealed to NovaFM’s Fitzy & Wippa, after BIP promos showed her going head-to-head with the Western Australian rope technician.
She was then asked if he did something in their relationship that made her re-evaluate things.
“Yes, which is what you will see pan out,” she explained.
“It’s something that’s quite personal and something quite confronting. I didn’t want it to come out in the environment, but it had to.
“When you go through the hard stuff, you can recognise your true feelings.”
