Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi have been forced to evacuate their California home with their pets due the threat of wildfire.
The 59-year-old television host tweeted, ‘Our house is under threat of being burned. We just had to evacuate our pets. I’m praying for everyone in our community and thankful to all the incredible firefighters.’
Their home, in Carpinteria, California, is shared with the couples several cats and dogs.
Currently, a large portion of California is being threatened by wildfires.
The Los Angeles Times reports that there are over 8,500 firefighters desperately battling six wildfires across the state of California. There have been over 88,000 evacuations so far.
