Farmer Wants a Wife fans, we’ve got a new project for you to add to your listening list.
Farmer Zac has revealed he and Farmer Dylan, who both appeared on the 2026 season of the show, are launching a brand new podcast, Apples & Spurs, with the first episode dropping August 19.
Zac gave WHO a little taste of what fans can expect from the podcast, and let’s just say, it sounds like they’re not planning on holding back.
“It’s finally out this Wednesday! We’ve been working on it for a little while now and already have so much planned. This first episode will just be an introduction, but we’ve locked in some really great guests already which is going to be very very exciting because we’ll get to hear so many different perspectives and their experiences,” Zac told WHO.
The pair are also keen to make sure they’re asking the questions fans actually want answered, rather than simply rehashing what we’ve already seen on screen. Yes please, we want that curtain LIFTED, thanks.
“We’re really keen to make it a space where we can answer the questions people actually want to hear. Nothing is too hard, awkward or personal,” he added.
So, what can we expect from Apples & Spurs?
Considering Zac and Dylan have both experienced the highs, lows and inevitable drama that comes with looking for love on national television, we’re guessing there won’t be a shortage of stories to tell.
“Obviously, we’ll be talking about all the ins and outs of Farmer, including some of the juicy gossip that comes with it,” Zac revealed.
But the pair don’t want the podcast to be all about what happened in front of the cameras.
“We also want to go a lot deeper than that. We’re really keen to have honest conversations about the real life hard times that people go through, the things you don’t always see on screen, and the mental and emotional side of it all.”
And honestly, we’re so down.
Farmer Zac and Maya are still going strong
Zac’s new podcast comes after a pretty big year for the 25-year-old apple farmer, who found love with Maya on the 2026 season of FWAW.
Since leaving the show, Zac and Maya have continued to give fans plenty of loved-up glimpses into their life together, despite living long-distance between Maya’s home in Melbourne and Zac’s apple orchard in the Adelaide Hills. They’re also the only couple from their season who are still together.
Their relationship even sparked pregnancy rumours after Zac joked that Maya was “19 weeks” pregnant online, before she later told WHO it was simply an inside joke gone wrong, and confirmed they were “definitely not” expecting a baby.
At the 2026 TV Week Logie Awards on August 16, Maya once again had fans talking when she stepped onto the red carpet in a stunning white gown that had us wondering if she’d accidentally turned up in a wedding dress.
When asked about the look, Maya joked the dress could double as a wedding gown because “it is white”, while Zac added: “Just in case. You never know how the night’s going to go!”
So, while we wait to see if wedding bells really are on the cards, Zac has another big project to keep him busy — and if his promise of “juicy gossip” is anything to go by, we’re very much ready to listen.
