Mat Rogers is out for blood on Survivor: All Stars – and it appears he’s had some acting lessons to nail his strategy in the off season!
On Wednesday night’s episode, Mat’s secret immunity idol meant John was booted from the Samoan island, instead of the former footy star.

‘If anyone’s got a hidden immunity idol and you’d like to play it, now would be the time to do so,’ host Jonathan told the tribes.
With Mat, Locky and John’s names on the chopping block, Locky’s ‘cool’ gang thought Mat was a safe bet to throw their votes at.
Little did they know Mat was the keeper of immunity.
‘Yeah it’s no exactly hidden,’ Mat told the group, who were sure he’d hold onto it for a future council.
At first, Mat pretending he would play his idol for another member – just like he’d done in the past – but instead he used it for himself, much to the chagrin of Locky.
His idol meant fan favourite John was sent packing.
