Oh no, this is bad. And I mean REALLY bad.

Earlier this week, WHO reported that Married at First Sight’s Mick and Jessika ‘passionately hate each other’. And after tonight’s episode, we can see why!

WATCH: Jess tears Mick a new one in an explosive on-screen fight

It’s no secret the pair have been at each other’s throats for the better half of the season, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t thrive off the drama. However, watching Mick rip Jessika’s family to shreds as she fought back tears was too far, even for Mick’s standards.

“He said that my father was a drunk and he then proceeded to call my brother a f**k head and then said my sister and best friend were f**ked,” Jess said.

Although most of Australia expected Mick to apologise and admit he was being, ahem, a tad harsh, that wouldn’t make for good reality television now would it?

Instead, the farmer added more fuel to the fire by claiming Jessika’s sister and best friend were ALSO acting like “twats” at their ceremony.

“I might have said the brother’s a f**K head and the dad’s a drunk, but this is what happened at the wedding,” he said, trying to justify his nasty rant. “These are facts and I thought Jess and I were at that place again where we could be honest with each other.”

If you cast your mind back to their very dramatic wedding, you’ll probably remember that awful speech Mick’s best man Broxy made over Jessika’s family making a scene. Speaking of old mate Brox, he made an appearance in tonight’s episode, and as expected, it didn’t go down well!

In the middle of a pretty bland conversation between the pair, Jess decided she’d had enough with the awkward small talk, claiming “I can’t be fake on camera.”

Still reeling over Mick’s bitchy comments, she walked into the kitchen to confront her husband.

Cue the tears.

“You don’t talk like that about somebody else family, it’s f***ing disgusting,” she screamed. “The sad this is that I genuinely liked you. I had my cards set on you up until about… It’s so disrespectful. You are f***ing rank.”

Unbothered by Jess’s concerns, Mick decides it’s appropriate to continue drinking with his buddy instead of comforting his wife.

“I don’t want to be here anymore. To hear him paint them like that. I hate him.”

So does most of Australia, Jess!

After admitting she’s had a “really rough upbringing” and agreeing that her family was rude to Mick, she explained it was the way he went about it that was really hurtful. Despite this, Mick stood by his comments and refused to apologise.

“You don’t need to pinpoint my family’s problems, I know. I’ve lived through it,” she said before Mick called her a “piece of work” and went back inside to grab another beer.

I think it’s safe to say Jess will be writing “leave” on her card at the next commitment ceremony!
