Viewers have called out MasterChef‘s judges for sending home 27-year-old primary school teacher Monica, when another contestant failed to produce all the dishes needed to complete this week’s Pressure Test.

George, Matt and Gary were joined by culinary goddess, Nigella Lawson for this week’s elimination challenge, which asked contestants to produce a mouthwatering roast chicken with two sides.
And while Monica served up just that, Larissa failed to produce two sides – leaving viewers scratching their heads.
“Larissa dodged a bullet,” commented onee, while another believes there’s something going on behind the scenes.
“Ridiculous – the challenge was to cook two side dishes – Monica had two dishes,” the fan began.
“Why judges saving Larissa? She is just unimpressive from day one, why judges? What’s your agenda this year???”
Regardless, Monica remained upbeat after the judges revealed she’d be leaving the competition.
“I’ve learnt so much from you guys, from these guys and just from being in the kitchen,” Monica told the trio, plus Nigella.
“I’ve loved absolutely every second of it. Thanks so much for having me.”
