When a show is nominated for a Golden Globe, you know it’s going to be a decent one.

The 2026 Golden Globe Awards are honouring the best of the best in TV and if you’re in need of a new binge watch, look no further.

Whether you’re in the mood for a lighthearted comedy or a gripping drama, here’s where you can watch all the nominated TV shows in Australia.

Severance

The critically-acclaimed drama returned for its second season in 2025, and is nominated for Best Drama once more.

Starring Adam Scott, Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman, who are all nominated in their respective acting categories, the show follows the employees of Lumon Industries who have undergone the ‘severance’ procedure that splits their memories between work and personal life.

Pluribus

From the creator of Breaking Bad comes this post-apocalyptic series where the vast majority of the population has been absorbed into an alien hivemind known as The Joining. Author Carol Sturka (played by Rhea Seehorn) is one of the few people who is immune to the effects and strives to find a way to fight back.

The show is nominated for Best Drama and Seehorn is also up for the Best Female Actor – Drama prize.

Slow Horses

The British crime drama follows a dysfunctional team of MI5 agents led by the obnoxious Jackson Lamb, played by Gary Oldman. Its fifth series hit our screens in 2025 so if you want to watch them all before awards season is done, you’d better get binge watching!

Slow Horses earned two nominations this year for Best Drama and Best Actor – Drama for Oldman.

The White Lotus

Season three of Mike White’s black comedy-drama is set in Thailand and with an all-star ensemble cast, be prepared for gun attacks and the most talked-about incest scene of 2025.

With six nominations, The White Lotus had the most of any show including Best Drama, Best Supporting Female Actor for Carrie Coon, Parker Posey and Aimee-Lou Wood and Best Supporting Male Actor for Jason Isaacs and Walton Goggins.

The Diplomat

Season three of the gripping political thriller returned in 2025 with Kate (played by Keri Russell) back in action.

The show is nominated for Best Drama and Best Female Actor – Drama for Russell.

The Pitt

If you’re in the mood for a medical drama, then The Pitt may be the show for you.

Set at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center’s ER, nicknamed ‘The Pitt’ by its staff, the show follows Dr. Michael ‘Robby’ Robinavitch (played by Noah Wyle) on his gruelling shifts.

Nominated for Best Drama and Best Actor – Drama for Wyle, this is the bookie’s favourite to win the top prize.

Abbott Elementary

The witty mockumentary set at a West Philadelphia elementary school is onto its fifth season and is the perfect watch when you need something cheeky and lighthearted.

The Bear

Yes Chef! Whilst not all of us are convinced that this is a comedy, The Bear has definitely been one of the critics’ favourites ever since it started in 2022.

As well as Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, its stars Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri’s acting performances also nabbed nominations.

Hacks

It swept the Emmys so we’re expecting big things from Hacks at the 2026 Golden Globes.

Nominated for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, it follows stand-up comedy legend Deborah Vance (played by Jean Smart) and her young writer Ava Daniels (played by Hannah Einbinder). Both actresses also scored nominations.

Nobody Wants This

The love story between Joanne (Kristen Bell) and her hot rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) enjoyed its second season in 2025 with more ups, downs and even a cameo from Adam’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester.

The show, Kristen and Adam are all nominated and we’re already counting down until season three!

Only Murders In The Building

With four nominations, the comedy series that follows three unlikely friends and their love of true crime has been officially renewed for a sixth season and could take home the Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy prize.

Martin Short and Steve Martin are up for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy whilst Selena Gomez is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.

The Studio

Starring Seth Rogen as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of a Hollywood movie studio, the comedy series, The Studio has already seen success at the Emmys and Critics Choice Awards.

The show itself is nominated as are Seth Rogen and supporting actress, Catherine O’Hara.

Adolescence

It was arguably the biggest TV show of 2025 with millions gripped by the story of 13-year-old schoolboy, Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) who is arrested after the murder of a girl at his school.

Shot in one continuous take, the show is nominated for five gongs including Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for Erin Doherty, Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television for Stephen Graham and Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for Owen Cooper and Ashley Walters.

All Her Fault

Starring Australia’s Sarah Snook, All Her Fault is a miniseries that follows Marissa (played by Snook) who arrives to pick up her son Milo from a playdate, but the woman answering the door doesn’t have him.

The gripping thriller is up for Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television and Snook is tipped to win the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television.

Black Mirror

The dystopian British series returned for a seventh series and in this age of AI and technology developing faster than ever, it’s becoming even more real and relevant.

Dying For Sex

This miniseries follows Molly Kochan (Michelle Williams) who embarks on a journey of sexual discovery after her stage VI metastatic breast cancer diagnosis.

The show and Williams are up for awards and we can say it’ll make you laugh, cry and everything in between.

Executive producer and director on six of the show’s eight episodes is Aussie Shannon Murphy, so fingers crossed!

The Beast In Me

Starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys, who are also nominated, this gripping thriller sees author Aggie Wiggs author begin to write a book about her new and wealthy next-door neighbour who allegedly killed his wife.

It’s eight episodes and you’ll be hooked from the first!

The Girlfriend

Another bingeworthy miniseries nominated for Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television, it tells the story of Laura’s (Robin Wright) reaction to her son, Daniel’s new girlfriend, Cherry.
