After an explosive commitment ceremony on March 15, where not one, but two brides stormed out, fans are noticing a “toxic” pattern of behaviour that this season’s brides continue to display: a lack of ‘accountability.’ No one expects MAFS to be solely about finding love, even though that is what the name implies.
However, after brides Juliette and Gia went to the group with damning “receipts” of Bec saying hurtful comments about Alissa and David, the drama of the season was just taken up a notch.
However, while Bec sat behind the couch, utterly shocked and embarrassed, it was Gia and Juliette who ended up running away.
As bridal feuds take over the show, fans are seeking some much needed “accountability” from more than one contestant on the show, calling for an end to the “toxic” behaviour taking up far too much air time on the experiment.
And, despite Bec making many questionable decisions and definitely having room for improvement, fans are saying she won brownie points for sticking it out while the others ran away.
Gia and Juliette refuse to take ‘accountability’
During Juliette’s time on the couch, she attempted to make herself look better by revealing the shocking “receipts” that Gia had on Bec, where language like “c–t” were thrown around yet again.
However, this reveal did not go quite as planned for the intruder bride as expert Alessandra called out Juliette and Gia’s behaviour as “a conscious retaliation with the purpose to hurt.”
Apparently offended by this comment, and by Joel’s lack of support on the couch (I mean, what was he supposed to say?), Juliette and Gia stormed out of those iconic sliding doors, leaving their husbands to chase after them, helpless and confused.
Fans are calling out the lack of “accountability” in Gia and Juliette’s dramatic exit.
“Also, when things blew up, Bec actually stayed and faced the group and the experts even if imperfectly,” one user commenetd online. “Gia and Juliette walked out instead of being held accountable. That alone says a lot about the difference in behaviour.”

Fans are calling MAFS 2026 the most ‘toxic’ season
However, Bec hasn’t gotten away with anything in fans’ eyes.
Gia’s “receipts” were leaked over the weekend on reddit threads and after Gia’s appearance on Friday morning on 2DAY Breakfast with Nath & Emma.
As fans are questioning whether the messages are even real, they’re also certain about one thing: brides Gia, Bec, and Juliette are all to blame.
“It also seems like they are all allergic to accountability,” one user noted. “The most toxic season since it began and I am not enjoying this season to be honest.”
For now, we just have to wait and see whether Gia and Juliette will return… and whether Bec will survive yet another apology tour.
