As the drama continues to unfold this season on Farmer Wants A Wife – much to fans’ dismay – both the contestants and farmers have noticed just how much reality has been left on the cutting room floor. Between Monday night’s intimacy task, which got quite raunchy on Farmer Jason’s farm, and the outing of what should have been a private journal entry, fans are well and truly sick of the increasing conflict.
Yet, it persists. With Miranda no longer in the firing line to absorb the heat, Logan from Farmer Jason’s farm has been pushed into the limelight…and not in the way you’d want.
After some bold choices during the blindfold intimacy task, Logan still missed out on the solo date with Jason, leading to some questionable side-eyes, tears, and private interview moments in which she questioned Jason’s decision-making—especially since his chosen date, Poppy, has been firm about not wanting more children.
Fans brand Logan “immature”
This didn’t go down well with fans watching at home, as Logan has now been labelled as “immature” and a contestant that viewers just “can’t stand.”
“Logan is way too young and immature for Jason,” one fan wrote after last night’s episode.
“Oh my god I wish Logan would grow up she has kids and acts like a teenager can’t stand her,” another agreed.
Amidst the hate, other viewers offered that while she may be “very immature”, she also looks to be “carrying a lot of trauma which has made her insecure.”
“She has just never found someone to love her the way she deserves,” another fan kindly suggested. Jason, please just give this girl the love she deserves!
‘I’m now a villain, apparently’
The criticism against Logan intensified following the arrival of intruder Kimberly, with last week’s episode depicting Logan and Poppy seemingly giving the newcomer the cold shoulder.
Speaking exclusively to WHO, Logan revealed that what actually happened behind the scenes tells a completely different story.
“I was barely in it until last episode, and I’m now a villain, apparently,” Logan said. “It upset me quite a lot about the comments about the last episode of us coming across as nasty and rude [to Kimberly], that really upset me, because it is definitely not who me or Poppy are.”
“I just wish they did were able to see what actually happened, because it was completely different to that.”
Expanding on what transpired when the cameras weren’t rolling, Logan explained that she and Poppy warmly welcomed the newcomer.
“We did say a proper hello,” Logan told us. “So it’s definitely different to how it actually played out. That was like a five-second clip of what [happened] because it was an awkward situation, but most of the time we were talking, and we were chatting to her, and we did definitely get up and hug her.”
Poppy backed up her fellow contestant’s account of the night.
“I wasn’t surprised that a moment like that could be interpreted differently in an edit,” Poppy told WHO. “What viewers didn’t see was that it was filmed late at night, after a very long day, and we were both exhausted and ready for bed. I did explain that to Kimberley when I showed her to her room, and I think it’s important to remember there is always more context behind a moment.”
No bad blood on Jason’s farm
Despite the on-screen tension suggested after Logan missed out on her solo date, both women confirmed that their bond is stronger than ever.
“We became close very quickly because we shared such a unique experience together,” Poppy said of her relationship with Logan. “She’s someone I’m really grateful to have met.”
“I’ve stayed in regular contact with many of the girls from Jason’s farm and the other farms. They’re all incredible women, and I’m really grateful our paths crossed.”
