Farmer Wants A Wife has had its fair share of surprising and messy moments this season, the latest being Ally’s sudden departure from Farmer Dylan’s farm.

After learning that Dylan and Keeley had shared a kiss, Ally fled the scene, giving the farmer an ultimatum to chase her or never see her again. Although her exit “rattled” Dylan, he decided to track Ally down, leaving his other two ladies, Scarlett and Keeley, anxiously waiting for his return and decision.

Speaking candidly to WHO about the saga, Scarlett revealed what it was like to be in such a nerve-wracking situation.

“I definitely felt like us girls had all been put in this ultimatum,” she told us. “I was essentially like, ‘Is Dylan just going to get up and leave and choose Ally over us?’, and I guess that freaked me out so much, because I had no idea what was going to happen.”

“I’m extremely out of breath, and I look like I’m about to have a panic attack,’ she continued. “Because that whole day was basically just what I would call a s–t show.”

She also revealed that a lot of “chaotic” moments from that day didn’t even make it into the episode.

“A lot was cut that day from what was actually shown on TV,” Scarlett told us. “I was very chaotic.

She described going through moments of “absolutely freaking out and being like, ‘Oh, well, this is the end, he’s chosen Ally'” to “phases of just shutting off completely and then being angry.”

“You don’t know how you’re going to feel until you’re in that moment,” she admitted. “And it definitely can bring out ALL the emotions.”

‘I didn’t really expect Dylan to invite Ally back’

While viewers were expecting Dylan to chase after Ally before the episode even aired, Scarlett thought that a lady up and leaving would be a deal-breaker for him.

“I didn’t really expect Dylan to invite Ally back,” she told us. “I knew he had a lot of feelings for Ally, but I didn’t think he would accept someone leaving.”

When Dylan returned from his chat with Ally and explained that he had asked her to come back, Scarlett was shocked and revealed that she cried because she thought the outcome would be very different.

Although she may not have predicted Ally being asked to return to the farm, she certainly saw Ally’s response coming from a mile away.

Joking about her “psychic abilities” and explaining she had a “gut feeling”, Scarlett said, “I knew she was coming back. So I wasn’t really relieved [when Ally arrived].

“I was more like, ‘our whole farm’s going to blow up in the next three days. It’s coming.'”

‘She just fit into Dylan’s life so well’

Interestingly, Scarlett says that even if Ally hadn’t come back, she doesn’t think Dylan would have picked her.

“I honestly thought that if it was Keely and I going into the final two, he would pick Keely,” she confessed. “I had a very strong connection with Dylan, and as Dylan mentioned, a lot was cut, so the audience isn’t seeing the full experience.

“But Keely just fit into Dylan’s life so well, whereas I’m more like a wild card.”

She also spoke about a reality that – unfortunately – far too many ladies can relate to when it comes to dealing with men and dating.

“I’m used to guys taking an option that is easier if they don’t like girls that are more outspoken,” she mused. “Don’t get me wrong. Keely is the most incredible person, but I would just say she’s more nice and kind – not that I’m not nice and kind haha – but you can tell I’m very outspoken!”

Scarlett defends Ally’s reason for fleeing

Despite the “s–t show” that Ally’s dramatic exit created, Scarlett says she understands why Ally did it, even if it was unclear to audiences watching at home.

“I kind of resonate with her,” she admitted. “It’s a scary position to be in, you’re putting your feelings on the line, and with Ally’s past and what she’s been through in previous relationships, it was obviously hard for her seeing a guy that she likes and has feelings for kissing on a girl.”

“I guess my perspective on Dylan kissing Keely was more, ‘Oh, well, this is part of what we’ve signed up for’; I was expecting it more. But then again, I, at the time, had not experienced being cheated on or anything like that.”
